Powered Mixer with 12 mike inputs. 4 300w (at 4 ohms) amps built in. 2 independent effects. 2 monitor mixes. Mute/break switch. Includes 5-space rack for itself.

Technical Specs : 9
Powered mixer.

Sound Quality : 10
So far, the thing sounds awesome. Only used for 1 rehearsal and 1 outdoor gig so far. Will use again tonight.

Features : 9
Easy to carry. Easy to set up. The knobs are small, but are logically set up.

Overall Rating : 9
Ultra convenient. I wish it had internal routing so that one of the amps could be used to power a passive subwoofer. I used the subwoofer out to amp 4 insert to get around this. All the amps have inserts available.

Carvin rx 1200 complete system

Technical Specs : 5
Powered mixer 50 lbs. 1200w rms. Four 300w amps. Built in effects and eq. Rugged road case included.

Sound Quality : 10
The sound of this unit is great and has a sub-unpowered output for the sub amp.

Features : No Opinion
System is set in a rugged road case. Easy to work through settings.

Overall Rating : 1
This system has broken down on me 3 times. It has 4 D battery size capacators that fell out twice even after sending it back for reinstallation. The Powered mixer costs $800.00 so it's not cheep. I'll have to pay the postage again and repairs this time since it's over 2 years old. Even though it is in a road case the amp is very fragile. I'm too afraid to use it for live shows so it's just been basically an elaborate home stereo. Last week however when I turned it on it started smoking and now has no sound. Looked inside and could see 4 resisters burned. Now it's back to San Diego with postage and a repair bill. Carvin has always been good stuff for me but I warn everyone I wouldn't but their rx 1200's.
