I owned a pair of Mackie SRM450 speakers made in the USA. I much prefer the smoother and more natural sound of the EV SxA360. The Mackies were "hyped" or exagerated in the high frequencies and the lows. The Mackie's mids were harsher. The EV SxA360 is much more natural and clearer sounding speaker, especialy in the mids which sound more present. The SRM-450s were 52 lbs each and quite awkard to move around because of their shape compared to the 32 lb. EV SxA360s.
The SxA360 also have better clarity than my FBT Maxx 4A powered speakers and my JBL Eon 15 G2s.

AT 36 lbs with a strealined cabinet design, the SxA360 is the easiest to carry 2-way 12" powered speaker in it class. It's flyable and poll mounts without any adaptors needed.
