This system was better then expected and has a Bose-like design with the speaker cabs which sounds good. The entire system is easy enough to carry and very easy to hook up. The system comes with two mics and cables for mics and 1/4" speaker cables. This stuff is clearly a serious detraction and I would consider it sub par. I immediately switched to better cables and mics for a noticeable improvement. There are 4 seperate channels and an adequate reverb contollable with each channel. Rudimentary Eq which is adequate for most situations. A built in CD player is very handy and works well.

Fender claims this is 250 watts but I think their power ratings are overhyped at best. My 200 watt Genz Benz amp blows this 250 watt PA away. Still, the system seems as loud as the new Fishman solo and has more features to boot. The speakers seem vey decent for a solo act or perhaps two instruments and vocals. Dont expect real loud. it seems adequate for weddings, coffee shops and even some bars. Low end is very questionable. Miking a drummer would seem nightmarish.

Once you start getting past mid the sound starts getting a little harsh and you really notice poor sound after 6 or 7. You can lower EQ to squueze more volume but this doesnt sound as good. The mids and highs on this unit seem good but lows are a little faint and dwarfed.

Very easy to haul, set up and operate. Plan on upgrading included junky mics and cables

I would recommend this to any solo act as long as they are not playing in a real noisy environment. I think real wattage is under 200. Still, i like this unit better then the Fishman solo or trying to use an acoustic amp to play guitar and sing through. I wish the unit did not come with the cheesy mics and cables. The rear storage compartment works well for the power cable and speaker cables. Overall I think this system is adequate for most performers who might play acoustic guitar and sing. I question durability however Ive not had any problems. I feel the low price is a good value.
