Future Sonics Atrios in-ear monitors are single driver suitable for on-stage and ipod use. I just wish they used the same housing as Westones UM2 for a better fit and aesthetically pleasing look.

Atrios will block out some outside noise but not as much as Westone UM2.

The Atrios have a deep pounding bass response with natural mids and highs. Compared to Westone UM2 the Atrios are much better for bass guitar players. Singers and guitar players will favor the UM2 for the mid and high end response. Atrios sound awesome for general playback with ipods.

Not as comfortable to wear compared to the Westones but wearing the Atrios on-stage I can have a conversation without having to take them out of my ears.

I recommend these IEM for general music listening and for bass players. Compared to Westone UM2 the Atrios hands down sound better but for use onstage the Westones fit better and also block out the outside noise. I placed a subwoofer under the stage directly underneath me so I can feel the bass and kick drum. Using the Atrios I needed very little sub but with the Westones I have to crank the sub to bring the feel back in. I had one driver in the Atrio quit working so I sent it back to Future Sonics to get fixed. Instead of fixing the driver they instead sent me new earbuds. With that customer service and excellent sound quality I highly recommend the Future Sonics.
