Really cranks in all ranges. Easily eq'd to any personal preference. Tight punchy bass, crisp clear trebel and well-defined mids. With 101 db sensitivity, you reach ear-splitting levels long before any distortion appears..you need to be careful with these to not damage your ears since they don't seem loud due to the clarity of the sound.
Nice coverage area.

Handles well positioned for lifting them onto a sub. They don't seem that heavy with two folks lifting them.

These speakers are unbelievable in the cost/performance area. Budget, yes...cheap, no. They sound great and serve my band well. We bought them at the blem price of only $140 each...even at $199 they are a deal. For the price, they are impossible to beat. For 100 dollars more apiece...not enough difference to justify the next nearest competitor. Probably the best sleeper deal out there since many of the "experts" on forums blast the company in ignorance of the current product line. Get these for small to medium rock venues and use a sub. You'll be very happy until you actually can afford to "upgrade" the sound.
