"New generation" of the "Pro" studio monitors at the low price, as declared. No subwoofer, the monitors have 2 speakers, compact, China made.

Powered, bi-amp, Ribbon tweeter, frequency announced 50Hz-30Hz because of that Ribbon. In REALITY: The frequencies at the back of these monitors are 50Hz-22Hz and NOT 30Hz as described. Anyway even 22Hz you???ll NOT hear because they are just at the paper! Somewhere between 16-18Hz, not more. 7 kg per monitor, 3 ouputs: XLR, TRS, RCA. As about protection: one is broken just in one week. Protect yourself of that!

In one word, it's a misery. All the knobs at the back - to add the difficulties. The are blinded though, but it's evident that the monitors should be blinded anyway. Sound like 10 bucks computer plastic monitors.

What about design if this give the sound completely NON-professional?
This have to be cost 10 times less for what is this in reality. Only the publicity has been made great though.

I've bought these in new because of the massive publicity by internet without to listen to it ("ribbon frequency, bla-blah, the incredible price, promotions" etc). Which mistake! Shame on me, I'm so naif! In one week the one monitor is dead-no sound. At all. The overall quality is just for the games or home cinema and NEVER for the professional or semi pro studio work. Beware of this product. To change them or repair you have to pay the postal fees which are very expensive. Finally I???ve repared by master and I???ve paid myself (master confirmed that this material is really at the chipo side) and I've gave these Pro monitors to my 9 old son for his games, hope that will work out there until fall broken down again.
I am over 30 years in the music production so my ears instead, are very pro: DON'T buy this product, take another brand and don't trust to the publicity of the prodipe, ???cos it???s real **** as it is.
Even first price M-audio sounds better I've made the comparaison way so late! Look around, there are the Genelec or Yamaha or Fostex or somewhat that is the REAL thing. Should put the name on this: "Prodipe Ribbon - Rubbish Pro 5. Bi-amp misery".
Who will stole this? I would be so happy! Sometimes the dreams come true... Nevermore anything from Prodipe, the worst product I've purchased in my life, it was the great mistake.
