This is a 31 band stereo digital graphic EQ. It has sliders for each band, 1/3 octave increments from 20 to 20K hZ. It has programmable presets that allow one to save eq settings. This eq has a very deep fucntion set for the price, including a limiter, harmonic enhancer, delay settings for time alignment of remote speakers. The stereo 31 band eq sliders can be left, right or combined (one set of sliders for stereo RL. Very impressive functionality at this price point

This is a 2 space rackmount unit with XLR balanced audio input and output, as well as available modules for spdif, midi and Samson's proprietary interface for use with their D1500 digital frequency analyzer (cost extra).
Sound Quality

The sound quality is very musical as long as one observes the same protocols as with any other graphic EQ. The unit is also very quiet

Rack mount, easy to read displays, pretty much basic physical features. The slider style frequency controls work well, with no evident latency or lag...still, its a digital unit and not exactly like an analog graphic eq.

Great unit for the money. If any criticism, its that the function set is so deep that it might take some time to get used to (I'm still digging into it). I also am holding out on its road worthiness, since 2 previous units shipped to me already had the mounting screws loose from the internal power supply, allowing it to rattle around and rendering those units non-functional. I've used this in several live gigs and it adds a lot of headroom, intelligibility and sparkle to our mixes. Once I have eq settings that I like for a particular room, I can save them and simply replicate them next time I play that room.
