Polypropolene - pretty soft plastic, as they all are, but ok if you look after them.
Technical Specs

These are pretty compact, and lighter than most (12kg each). Jack and Neutriks. They take a fair power (250w rms) Got a nice toppy HF driver. LF driver is ok if a little woolly.

These are not as good as EVs or Mackies or Db, but not far away. I hated the ample but woolly bass on these speakers at first, so I blocked up the ports. Ahhhhh, so much easier on the ear. Bass is still present, just tighter. I don't need to run them at full whack anyway. I nearly got rid of them until I blocked the ports. Then my ears were happier :-). Still a tiny bit woolly, but you would need a 3 way system to get a proper mid anyway.
Features

They have some basic overload protection of the lighting up incandescent lamp type on the HF. No protection on LF driver. The main feature is that they are light (13kg each)

I got a pair of these really cheap because of a few dry joints on the crossover. Quick application of a soldering iron, and all is well, although i was very disappointed at first in the nasty woolly bass until I blocked the ports.
