These have paper cone speakers. I'm not sure what the crossover is. However, the low end on this is a bit lacking so although they have pole mounts, I probably would not use them as front of the house speakers. They are very good floor monitors though.

The low end is 65hz so you will not get the chest thumping lows out of these you would get from a larger speaker with a lower end. The highs and mids from these are very good. They are definitely good as floor monitors. For the price, you can't beat these. I run them with a Samson SX1200 and I can crank them but you don't need to.

These are very light @ 34Lbs. They do have single position pole mounts in them so you could use them as mains in a small venue if you wanted to. The metal handle and the rubber floor stops are nice. These are really easy to carry around 2 at a time.

I've used these as stage monitors at quite a few gigs since I picked them up about 3 months ago. I have no complaints and the rest of my band really likes them as well. I would definitely buy these again. It would be nice if they a little bit lower end to them but for a 12" driver, they are pretty good.
