It adds distortion ; a little or a lot depending on your preference.
To say it does nothing is a bit ludicrous.
I like the sounds, and have used it a lot, especially on drums, where it seems to also add a small touch of compression. Just a bit of grit. Can't say I've used many other similar plugs though apart from Voxengo stuff - which is more complicated, and requires more tweaking but has far greater depth of options.

Never crashes. Price is about right - maybe a little steep, as it does very little really

okay, basicaly one of my mates bought this plugin, and tried it out, and came to me saying it doesn't do anything, I think it's broken.
So I go down to his house and try it on a single track, and sure enough theres nearly no difference, so being stupid we decided to apply it to every track in his mix, suddenly the mix sounded much more together and full, at the time we were both thinking that it had to be some kind of weird fluke. So we took it home to my place to try it out on some decent monitors and on bigger mixes, and Sure enough, applied on one track it still didn't make much difference (though there was a much more noticable difference through proper monitors) but applied to groups of tracks this thing works wonders, Highly rekomended!
