Reviewer Background :
I have been recording for a few years - competent guitar player, not so much with keyboards. I am using this with Sonar.

Ease of Use : 9
The interface is laid out pretty well. There are six elements, each of which has its own tab. Each element has its set of step generators, envelopes and LFO's. The layout is pretty self explanatory. If anything, it's hard not to mess with things to see what happens.

I have version 1.1. The manual does not cover the features added since version 1.1.

Sounds/Sound Quality : 10
Rapture does a few VA type sounds as well as modern synth sounds. It really shines at sounds having multilayered parts with a lot of motion.

Overall Rating : No Opinion
I had been curious about this one for a while and picked it up when it was on sale. It's definitely worth the price paid.

I like the way that it's so easy to make patches that are both interesting and useful.
