Reviewer Background
:
Using EWQLSC through Cubase to add choir chorals to mainly classical and soundtrack genre of music production...
Ease of Use

Interface of both Kompakt for the Choir and Wordbuilder that is used to build phrases are straightforward. The problem that most face is when it comes to connections either as standalone or especially with a DAW. Once one figures out the inputs and outputs between the three programs all is ok...The wordbuilder takes sometime to learn but once someone gets the hang of it all compositions become very much like a real choir.
Sounds/Sound Quality

The quality of the samples are top notch and once one can handle wordbuilder well then the results are stunning....Tweaking of phrases is mandatory for this to be achieved but actually is a fun process and one learns a lot about vocals in this way. There is a learn function if someone wants the wordbuilder to automatically conform your written phrases to what you play on the midi controller.

Never crashed on me, never hogged my pc workstation (although I do have a strong PC). The price is a little on the high side I would think at least 150$ less would be a better price. This is definetely a good quality VST that doesn`t mean you should pay a fortune. Check out for promos once in while in the East West site sometimes they do give very large discounts....
