Reviewer Background

I have been making music for 6 years and play keyboard. The version of the software is 1.0.3 and I use it with Logic Pro 8. I use it for making electronic sounds for video games. I am using it on a iMac Intel. I use monitor speakers and headphones.
Ease of Use

Yes, the software is intuitive and easy to learn. The copy protection is a serial code scheme which was not too much hastle. Setting up controllers was easy using the midi learn button in the top corner of the plug-in window. The sounds that came with Circle were good, but found it was really easy to mess around and start making my own sounds.

It sat in the mix well. Somtimes it can sound a little lo-fi, especially with some of the wavetables. The presets were good and it was easy enough to make changes to a sound to make it more personal. The instrument is as expressive as you would expect from a soft synth. The max polyphony is 32, but it would choke at this many voices. I'd say true polyphony is 10 on my iMac.

Yes, it was worth the price. I chose it over omnisphere because it was cheaper and easier to use. I love the sound and the way it is easy to program. I don't like the CPU hit. It hasn't crashed which is good. In general I am having a lot of fun with Circle. Some extra filter shapes would be nice.
