Reviewer Background
:
over 20 years i have been composing music from the synthesis world. I use this plug in with Emagic Logic Audio now Apple Logic Studio, and Ableton Live 5,6,7,8.
I compose a variety of styles of music thought his instrument holds a geeky tech sound to it. emulated of the famous ARP Odyssey. It holds true to the touchs that make the unique duo sound that was the ARP Odyssey.
Ease of Use

the interface was as confusing as the orignal ARP Odyssey. So this unit is true to its hardware brother.
It does allow for things inherient to software patches. It allows to create and safe patchs and load in others that people have made.
the sound of it is quite tasty though not as tight as i had hoped for, though emulation of any synth sound or plug in lacks what the tight brilliant sound of hardware instruments had.
the manual is extremely helpful if you are not familar with the unit. or the orignal ARP Odyssey

Again the unit is a direct emulation of the ARP Odyssey, and well, if you understand how difficult it is to say it 'fits in a mix'. It is a unique instrument though the basses works well.
the plug in is extremely expressive and has sync controls to lock up to midi time so you can get lfo's etc to lock to time.
it is mono and duo toned. though it holds that unique sound of the due tone ARP Odyssey.

worth it if you liked the classic synth to which it emulates! ARP Odyssey.
I love that now i can put it in a mix as many times as i want and it hardly puts any pressure on the cpu!! it is easy on the cpu cycles!
never crasged.
