Reviewer Background :
I??m an audio engineer and own a medium-sized recording studio. Besides, I??ve been making music for many, many years as an educated classical pianist. I produced several jingles and scores for TV shows and films. The DAWs I work with are Cubase, Logic and ProTools.

Ease of Use : No Opinion
Is the interface intuitive? Well, if you are used to real pro-gear - yes. If you never worked with real Outboard-Reverb units it might be a bit too much once you clicked the "Advanced" button. This edit mode is great for engineers like me. People who prefer it simple may like the easy mode. However, the real potential can only be revealed by twiddling the pots in advanced mode. So-have you ever worked with a T.C: M2000 or 5000 ? then this is going to be a piece of cake.
To get a good sound seems to be more than easy, due to the great algorithms of these plugins!

Sounds/Sound Quality : No Opinion
In my opinion, if you have the choice of buying a real reverb unit or the IK Multimedia CSR- go and get the CSR. To get a comparable sound quality you??d have to spend much more money on a piece of hardware in case you prefer real rack devices. Some people say a real Reverb always will sound better. Sorry my friends, I rather believe you are afraid that you could have wasted your money on buying real rack gear. This plugin sounds...real.

Reviewer Background :
I hyave been making music for 15 years. This is version 1.1 of CSR and as I write this I'mstill using it on 3.2 Ghz P4 with 1Gb Ram. I make reagge/dub/chill out music so reverbs are pretty important. I use a RME fireface and either wharfedale's diamond pro with a tannoy TS-10 subwoofer or AKG K-240 headphones.

Ease of Use : 10
The user interface is brilliant. Simple, straight to the point. Looks good but not unnecessarily elaborate like some other IK plugins. The presets generally sound very good and I hardly have touched any of the parameters so far, other than length and Hipass filter frequency.

Sounds/Sound Quality : 10
All the 4 plugins sound very good. The inverse one applied to a good snare sample sounds incredible. the only other reverb plugins I used were waves and this one completely blows them away. I prefer these to impulse reverbs also.

Overall Rating : 10
I bought this as part of the total effects bundle and it was worth every cent.

It is also light on the CPU. On my out of date machine each plugin uses a average of 3% processing time. I really don't think these plugins could be any better.
