Version of MachFive V 2.02 standalone or within Cubase 4.01
Computer is Intel based PC running XP-64 with QuadCore extreme processor and 16 GB RAM ruuning through Tascam DM 3200 mixer and firewire card

Could never get to the user interface stage-looks nice on the box.
THIS PRODUCT WILL NOT INSTALL PROPERLY ON WINDOWS BASED XP OR VISTA SYSTEMS.
Don't know about MIDI OR automation implementation as I never got that far.
Sound auality could not be determined.
It DID come with a manual, nice and readable.
OH MY, DON'T TRY TO USE THIS ON A WINDOS SYSTEM-YOU'LL PULL YOUR HAIR OUT TRYING TO GET IT TO INSTALL.
The ILOK USB key it comes with is a miserable copy protection system that is recognized by some systems, while not others. I found that once I finally got this long, cheap plastic dongle-ILOk-thingy to be recognized in my system, the website at www.ilok.com stated that it did not have any user authorizations on it and that I had to reinstall the ILOK driver . I repeated this process over and over and ran in circles trying to get it to work.

Never could get it to run on Windows Vista Laptop or XP 64 home system so unable to determine what it sounded like.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT IF YOU ARE RUNNING A WINDOWS VISTA BASED SYSTEM. You will waste your money.
Lastly, why is it that all the great reviews of softwre products by 'other users' using PC systems, that I have tried to install, test and have failed with, , seem to come from people that never leave their email address or names?
* reviwers note-I am not an audio product professional nor have I ever worked for, been affiliated with or ever had personal friends who have worked with any audio manuafacturer or musical instrument software design firm.
