Reviewer Background
:
The Nomad Blue Tubes Bundle sounds not that polished as other emulated stuff. It is a bit Lofi but I love this mud on some tracks. In the digital domain everything is polished clear until the last dust is gone. Nomad emulates some old gear that has its mistakes....WOW mistakes I can live with this because they give some kind of human touch back. In the End I take my mix over a Telefunken M15A tape Head Recorder.... Nomad is the perfect use to generate a kind of 50-60s sound.
Ease of Use

They are easy to use and give me some feeling back that I miss instead of using hardware.
Sounds/Sound Quality

Some of them Sound good and some of them Sound not that good.
I think the Pultcs come near to the UAD stuff but they have too work on this a little more at the time UAD is ruling in sound. Some of the EQs have a LOFI Sound which i love it is not the clear thing it is sounding a little dark. What I like they have a LP that emulates very nice the use of a tape head recorder.
Some of the knobs do not do exactly what they scale but I have seen this on much more expense stuff.
In order that I get for 450,-$ 19 useful Plug WOW.
But I think nomad has to work on the sound quality moreif they realy want to play with the big ones as Waves or UAD they have to invest some more time and money in remodeling their EQs and Compressors.

Just again overall for 450$ you get a big bunch what is worth it money.
If you are looking for some kind of SSL console sound in this case the Nomads are wrong for you.
But if you think that you need some dust something what is sounding good but not too good something what others scribe as LOFI....I would not but it is some kind of special sound that reminds me to the 50s.
I wish that Nomad is for some plugs taking more care for the Sound.
Some Compressors have a very controversy behavior.
