I've been playing music all my life. Guitar, Bass, Synths, Samplers, and anything else I can make noise with. Not sure of the software version. I use Ohm Boys with Cubase SX 3. I use it anytime I need a good delay or to make some interesting delay type sounds. I'm using a 3.6 Ghz PC with XP. I've used OhmBoyz on a Mac in nuendo and cubase in the past. Works well on both platforms. Primary listening equipment: RME 96/52 in my sequencer that goes to Scope 4.0 PC as my mixer that feeds a Central Station to Mackie SUB/HRS80's.

The funky skin was a little confusing to me at first so I switched to the classic interface (you have the choice at no extra cost). No problems installing. They send you a code to put in. Automation is great... midi learn function works well. VERY easy to get a good sound out of it. I read the manual once. I think it was good.

Sounds amazing. Best delay plugin you can get. Lots of good presets and it's easy to make your own.

Worth the price. It's like no other delay. I love controlling the feedback and filters via midi CC#. Making it scream and then calm back down. Not too CPU intensive. I can't remember it ever crashing on me and I've been using it for a few years now.

I have been making music for 20+ years. Guitar is my main instrument.
Version of this software is unknown.
I use the Ohm Boyz delay as an effect plug in in Fasoft's N-Track studio. Works like a charm.
I use the plug in for all kinds of things. Whatever I want to experiment with I throw on this plug in and it never ever lets me down. I like abstract field recordings laid down with ambient styles of music with a meaning of somesort relating to world events.
I have a Wintel DAW using Win98SE.
I utilize several monitoring methods from headphones to 15" spkrs in a P.A. system.

I certainly find the interface intuitive. There are unlimited options and configurations with this Delay plug in. An instrument in itself I would say.
No problems whatsoever installing. You get an authorization code via email and you're up and running.
I suspect there are automation features I just don't use them, neither do I use midi controllers, the simpler the better for me.
You immediately get good sounds out of this plug in. The presets alone sound good not to mention what you can tweak out of it yourself.
Check the read file for the manual.

Sounds great, you have as much control as you like. You have control over wet/dry ratio as well as the multitude of routing and modulation options. There are filters too.
So far as making it work better, look at the routing diagram on the front panel of the plug in and ask yourself "where would you like the signal to go?".
As mentioned before the presets will quickly show you what this thing is capable of and that indeed it is an intrument in itself.
It's a plug in, you can use it on as many tracks as your processor can handle. It doesn't seem to be a CPU hog either.

Definitely worth the price for what you can do with it.
I have PSP audio's Lexicon PSP42 and 84 (fantastic delays as well) to compare this to and it holds it's own right alongside them both. It is quite a different delay in it's own right though so comparisons don't do it justice to begin with. It has a unique character.
I love what it can do to a sound. It can create something totally different from what you would expect when applying it to a recorded track. There is a slight learning curve but not near what you get with something like NI's Kontakt or Emagic Logic.
Has never crashed, may hog lesser powered CPU's I use a P4 1.8G 533Mhz with no problems.
It is just fine the way it is you even have a choice of skins.
