Virsonix BBE Sonic Maximizer VST Mac

The BBE Sonic Maximizer was introduced many years ago, and Virsonix, who designed the software version, as been out of business since 2004. The result? BBE's info says it works with Mac OSX, which is a flat-out lie. Unless you have a G3 or G4 and run OS9 (are you kidding??), this will not work, period. BBE should be sued. Since my seller will not accept software returns, I am out $100. Beware!

This one is about as simple as it can get. The interface is pretty much idiot proof, and each knob on it is capable of making a big difference.

It sounds great. I cannot fault it. It's very transparent and enhances your music rather than stomping on it.

For me this has become an essential plugin. For almost any track or recording I will hit it with Sonic Maximizer first before doing anything else. Try it yourself and then toggle the bypass switch to see the amazing difference and the lack of any negatives like distortion or artifacts. You will be a believer as soon as you hear the comparison.
