Reviewer Background :
Keyboard player, day job as PC Tech.
Running iDrums on a 3G 2Ghz T5750 through an Edirol UA-1ex.

Ease of Use : 2
The grid is like any grid except for the fact that you can modify the size to make it readable over long periods.
I loaded the demo but let the time run out, when I went to reload it, it wouldn't produce sound and a slow-to-respond tech support told me that that was that. I made the mistake of buying anyway because I needed something cheap and now.

Sounds/Sound Quality : 5
Sound is ok if you pick up an additional set. I picked up a soul kit.

Overall Rating : 2
Not worth buying. If you have a larger monitor you should have options to expand the grid rather than viewing 64 time slots in 3 different panels for just one measure.
Also, HUGE problems with latency and very unsophisticated asio controls which don't report latency, require you to restart the product and seem to have no impact. From what I can tell, with a decently-resourced PC, I have 30 ms of latency and that's the bottom line.
And you have to remind the support guy that you filed a question after a couple of days just to get an answer.
