Reviewer Background
:
Been recording on computers (Atari Falcon and PC) for years now. I use Cubase SX now with a load of plugins and ordered this one to use with Halion. I also
use Halion for Drumkit From Hell for Halion which works fine. I compose and record any kind of music for myself and clients. I use a AMD machine with
Windows XP Pro at the moment, but you know how fast hardware and software changes go.

I didn't get it to work with Halion, it needed an update, (which I didn't knew) to at least version 2.035 or something ? It took a while, but at a friends place I got
sounds out of it. The manual is pretty much two lines telling you you need a un-RAR program and that you can find info online. You need to unpack the files
to a disk, pretty straight forward and then make use of the banks and instrument files which come with the CD.
Good, nice sounds, didn't got it to work for my own productions though. So on itself the samples sound ok. You can expect nice detailled layers etc,
professionally sampled voices and sounds and very very detailled.
It's worth the money, but I'd rather saw it deliverd with a player-type of interface like some products do (Artist Drums with Kontakt player etc.)My Bosendorfer
plugin was install and play, this took lots of time to unpack and get it to work with a specific version of Halion (or version 3 at most) Support is crap and
unfriendly...period!
