I've been playing guitar/keyboards and a little drums for 10 years. Five years ago I started a small homestudio. I make dance music with various side projects varying from stringquartets to nu-metal.
The Samplers I use are The Akai S5000 (live), Steinberg Halion, and Native Instruments Battery and Kontakt.
I have a PC with a Motu2408 soundcard with Dynaudio BM6a nearfield monitors.

This CD is my main source for electronic analogue kicks, snares and hihats.
Definitely worth the price. In total 5000 dancedrumsamples.
The complete Roland TR serie and in total 51 analogue drummachines and lots of dancesounds.
The samples from the 31 digital drummachines are outdated.
The sounds are unprocessed. If you like to create your own sounds like me this is great.
To get killersounds I stack sounds, add serious compression, distortion, add a plate or room reverb and add filters, flangers and other fx.
