yeah, it's worth the price tag.. however, with all the samples being "wav-ready" (which should mean the loop points are already SET), the sample loops do not have the correct loop points set (as with all Soundscan series sample libraries.
don't get me wrong-- Soundscan makes GREAT loops.. all of them are highly usable. you just have to start chopping them up in Sound Forge or whatever.. it's cool that all the loops are already organized in folders, but like i said-- EVERY loop has to be edited... to get the correct loop points so the groove loops smoothly without hiccups or pauses which mess up the timing.
there is a wide variety of sounds in this library... mostly drum loops but a lot of cool sound effects and basslines as well. definitely worth the price tag if you ask me. just be prepared to chop and edit, just as if it was an audio-only library (but with everything already named and organized for you).
i give this library an 8 only because of the chopping needed. the sounds are definitely a 10.
