There is some decent material on this 2 disc set.I purchased this for $50 half off the initial price which is a decent deal. Once again this is mainly a construction kit disc but has a generous helping of seperate loops and phrases all in a Parliment Funkadelic kind of vibe. The seperate drum loops section are mainly based around tempos from 70bpm up to 110bpm. The one thing right off the bat is that the drums are recording very softly and don't really hit hard enough on the majority. It's just my opinion but i would rather have drums at least normalized so they're uniform when you use them in a track. This makes some otherwise kind of interesting loops very annoying to work with. Some of the Bass lines suffer from this same problem along with some subtle IM distortion artifacts. The vocal samples are the same set of rehashed James Brown snippits we have heard for years and so are completely useless. Out of this whole collection probably the best thing are the guitar lines which are played very in the pocket and the recording quality seems very authentic. Overall i would'nt recommend this disc as you can definately find better titles in this genre.
