Reviewer Background
:
I've been making music about 10yrs now. I play/compose groovy stuff, like acid jazz, nu-jazz and electro-funk etc. For sampling I use Triton & Kontakt(PC). If I still would use hardware, it would be AKAI s-series. I sample mostly strings & wind instruments & drums/percussinons. I usually play guitars & keys & synths. And use VAs and VST instruments for synth sounds. My primary listening is done via headphones & Yamaha monitors. I have a M-Audio souncard.

Even though I don't remember the exact price, it wasn't much for the quality of the product. I use it 9 times to 10 when I need to add string sounds to my songs.
I chose it couse one of my friend praised it alot. I didn't actually compare it to anything, but I do own other string librarys also, and this one beats them all.
My favorite sounds in this collection are Staccato and (MF?)legato violas. But every sounds in this collection are very usable. You can use these sounds for backing and for soloing. My only critisism is that could/(should) be more of them... And as the name indicates, this is specialized sound set...
