Reviewer Background
:
Been playing piano for 45 years; jazz, rock, recently playing around with soundtrack work.
I use this with the Emagic EXS-24 sampler in Logic Audio Gold 4.7 on a Mac Beige G3 upgraded to G4 466mhz with 512MB memory.
I've had the library for a couple of months. I play out of the computer through a M-Audio Delta 66 into a Mackie VLZPro mixer into a fairly good stereo system and out of either Paradigm Atom speakers or the little Roland MA-8's I keep in front of me. I also monitor on Sony reference earphones.

There may be less expensive collections of analog sounds, but this library is well worth the money in that it's optimized for EXS-24 and sounds truly phat and great, with wonderful tweaks available through the sampler program. Except for the most complex pads, most of the sounds just fill up the room while keeping the CPU meter down around 25% on this older computer. For those who don't want to tweak all day and night, but want really great analog sounds to add with little fuss and really nice results, I highly recommend this library. I notice it's been reduced in price lately. Most samples sound nice through the EXS, but this one just kicks ass.
