Freeloops.co.uk UFO Dance ACID

I've been making music for over 20 years now and it has ranged from punk to dance. At the moment I use Acid and fruityloops to put together dance based music and good library's are essential for this. I've been put off in the past by the price for some libraries so when I seen this boxset on www.freeloops.co.uk I couldn't resist it. I was half expecting a pig in the poke but I have to admit that I am well pleased with what I received and I have produced tracks from this library that far exceed anything else I have ever done.

I bought the boxset from the site as they were having a sale. For $14.99 (which included postage) I got around 1500 wav files which almost filled the 2 cd's. What I liked the best about it is the fact that all the loops provided were 140bpm making the whole library a lot easier to use. The cds are grouped into sections like drums, bass, vocals, keyboards etc to make it easier to find the right loops.
The loops are well put together and because they are quite wide on the stereo mix they fill gaps in my tracks that other loops leave empty. For this kind of silly money I'd say it was well worth it. The only problem I have is with the payment method, as Paypal is more American based, but I have to admit that once I had created an account on Paypal that everything went through smoothly and the cd arrived promptly.
