Great for the price!
Fill short in memory.
Amazing velocity settings, you really feel in front of a piano, very bright and detailled when played strongly.
Very dark at the bottom, a field that usually miss from most soundbanks (PMI ones or EW). I guess it was maybe recorded in close mic or post processed?
I prefers this library over the numerous ones I have because for Pop/Rock it fits better in the mix period. Also it is only 300 Mb large... loads fast, do not crash my PC, sounds great.

I've subscribed to Gigfiles.com (I've paid 69 USD for one year of subscription.)
I've tested the Kontakt and Giga version (Halion, EXS, Soundfont and STS Creamware are also avalaible).
I must say that I've been very surprised by the quality of the sound library featured on this website.
Usually I pay around 180 USD for one commercial soundbank, and for 69 USD I was just expecting some extra sounds to download quickly.
The server is VERY fast (I've downloaded on my 2Mb DSL line at full speed).
All the Pianos (Steinway C, Pleyel P190 and what they call Hybrid Piano) are extremelly well recorded. I must say that they are the best I've heard, ready to use, and short enought to fit in my sampler memory without overloading the system!
The strings are very well designed for what they are supposed to be : pop strings. But I've used them as realistic pads as well.
The electric piano, the Wow piano and all ePiano are amazing, as a pianist I've found some real gems!
My overall feeling about this site is that for 69 USD I've found a really good deal!
In the future more online download services for samples should become popular, let's hope that http://www.gigfiles.com will continue on this way...
