Everything by Homegrown Sounds is worth the price tag. This very small company based out of the UK are some of the most talented producers/musicians/sample makers out there. All of their libraries are high-quality, different-sounding, and above all USABLE samples. This disc (in .wav and recycle format), has tons of great guitar loops--
The guitars sound like Interpol, Cocteau Twins, shoegaze music in general, Tristeza, Unwed Sailor.... processed, clean, heavily effected, uneffected... all of these guitar riffs are awesome, usable, interesting, pretty, rockin', ambient.... great, great stuff. A unique and very cool library.
It would be great if Homegrown Sounds could get the distribution that the "big guys" get... if their stuff was available on timespace.com or soundsonline.com they would put all the $90 library people out of business. No joke, the stuff is THAT GOOD.
Go to www.hgsounds.com for more info. You'll want all of their libraries once you hear the demos (I own all of them, and I use them all the time). Can't think of a bad thing to say about this library, or any of their others.
