I've been making music for 16 years. I make rap and hip hop beats. I have a Akai MPC 1000. I've had these kits for 3 weeks. I use KRK VXT8 monitors.

First off I like the fact that they provide the MPC file to load the sounds automatically into my pads.

Next: The sounds. I bought a lot of kits over the years. A few are bomb and some are not. These sounds have presence. The kicks have bump. For real. The 808 kick from the Producer kit is the one I've been looking for. The snares and claps sound amazing. They have EQ'ing that makes them cut. No dead air in the samples at all. Some samples are stereo some are not. I like that because some sounds don't NEED to be stereo.
The riffs and hits samples are tight. They are original (I haven't heard them before) and inspiring,too. I like the way they all work together. They have that in your face presence, too.
Overall, these kits rank high with me and I'm tough. I like this company and bought 2 other kits yesterday. Mogul and MVP. At first I was apprehensive about the price of the kits and only getting 64 samples but now I understand why. They are worth it. I give them a 9 out of 10.
