Reviewer Background :
I have spent the last 20 years making music. I began playing heavy metal, then progressively evolved, I now create ambient, and also classical stuff when it's not some bizarre electro-ska. I use the RDK2 in Reason 3 (Combinator required). Ispent a few weeks with these. I listen to my work on an Albarry PP1 amp coupled to a pair of Castle Trent speakers. The sound comes from eith my Power Mac's internat sound board or my Yamaha 01X.

Overall Rating : 10
Very worth. We get the same as in the RDK 1.0 but it's also combined into "Producer Kits" which make these samples very usable. Sound is excellent (600 samples / drum kit is what I call a good resolution) and I have too many options to define my overall favorite.
I also note that these load much faster than RDK1.0 used to.
It's drum-only based but it's what I wanted. The upgrade was too cheap to be ignored and worth its price and the RDK1.0's combined
