Been making music for a couple of decades, rock, blues, classical. Plan on using it with N-track, with a soundblaster Live! and KX drivers. I did not work with the library, I listened to the demo.

It sounded much like a real kit. I am not too sure about the kick drum, perhaps the library has more options then listening to the demos. I am curious if it would have a good sound suitable for double kick. The snares were nice, and the brushes, with the demos showing some rolls.

I've been making original pop music for 8 years now, I'm using Cubase with the UAD-1 card, two Neve preamps, a Manley Voxbox and an Avalon EQ.
Previously, I tried some different libraries and stuck with the "Drumkit From Hell" library which sounds pretty real. In fact, I have only one complaint about it - it's not suited for my musical style. On the other hand, it's very well compressed and EQ'ed, but this is a downer for me sometimes, because I have to tweak the sound with my outboard gear to make it sound more like pop/rock drums.
I think it's more suited for hard rock.
I got the Real Drums Collection immediately after it came out after listening to their demo at realsamples.de.
I've produced some tracks with it now, and it never let me down. I'd say it sounds just as real as the "Drumkit from Hell", if not even more, because the drums come with up to 110 velocities and left & right hits as well. This way I could program some great fills. It's just one (great) drumkit, but that's enough for me. It suits perfectly to my music. Having the choice of two different snare drums (one wood & one brass) is great, too. Although I haven't used it too often because there was no opportunity yet, it's also fine for me to choose between normal drum sticks, "hot rods" and brushes. I think it's the best drum sound on a sample CD that I've ever used. I hope they do another one soon.

The downside is that some cymbals that are included are not available as brush hits.
Besides that, I think it's the best drum sound on a sample CD that I've ever used, very well worth the price. There's no track I'm doing without it (except if it doesn't need any drums). I will definitely check out their other stuff, too.
