I have been making music in my home studio and worked in pro studio's for 15 years.
My music ranges from Alternative to Metal to electronic and experimental.
I am currently using Reason V4.
I use a Set of M-Audio BX-5a's, AV20's and Sony MDR V700 headphones.

I bought the complete set of the SR Refills.
This library has everything I haven't been lacking for sounds since I bought it.
I personally like the Synth patches and the Rex drum loops.
I think it was worth it, The Nag I have is they said "20 DVD's" and when it showed up it was ONE DVD with all library's on it and only came in a Paper CD sleeve not even a hard CD case.... Kind a stingy for a $300+ Sample library.
Other wise I cant complain.

I've been playing Keyboards for about 45 years, currently have a small studio setup with a QS7 for controller, sequencing with Cubase SX, Reason 2.5, Halion, Groove Agent, and other VST instruments and effects.

This is the best sample value I have personally experienced. I love Reason but am an older guy with a love of richer and more traditional sounds. This refill really rounds out Reason for me. The amount of content is huge. The night I got it I nearly wore myself out greedily auditioning presets. There are a wide variety of sounds but in general I would describe them as fatter, lusher, prettier than most of the Reason refills. I've already started replacing sounds for completed songs with really nice results. As a keyboard player, I especially appreciated the well-done pianos and organs. I could have wished for a few more B3 sounds but that is really about it. If I need anything more polished, I'll go to Halion, but these samples give me the inspirational sounds I need to do the songwriting that is so easy to accomplish in Reason.
I must admit that I thought the user comments for Sonic Reality in the synth and plug-in databases were hype, but this refill is really something to rave about, if you want really solid songwriting sounds that are great sounding, if not edgy. There are a lot of great edgy refills out there for that. Heh, the older I get the more I realize that the only animals in nature that consistantly look for the edge are lemmings.....
