Five years of electronic music; standard sound editing tools to work with the library while listening to the sounds via Sennheiser EH2270. This background thing is a bit tiring to enter every time.. :)

Well, I've got my hands on this library after I've been horrified with X-Static Goldmine 5, which somehow specialized on progressive kinda electronic music. And well, guess what, this one is a lot better.

The quality of all sounds is marvellous, they're really clean and crisp and its this good kind of 'crispness' that lets you use them all. Fast beats, brooding beats. There are some bass samples+sequences to enhance the feeling, too.

This whole lot of jungle loops of tremendous help, especially if you've had problems with constructing complex jungle drumtracks (like me! yay!); and you can back your beats up with the melodic samples. While they're not especially complex or rich in sound like the stuff you can hear in, say, new age music, they're still a great help.

As for disadvantages, well, some of the fx sounds really thin. And those melodic sequences, I could never understand how you can actually use melodies composed by someone else in your own tracks and feel good about it.

Anyway.. its a great sound library for someone who is into jungle, drum'n'bass, and anything in between. Like the ad said, "Roll the beats".
